Magnetic tape used:  3.81 mm (0.150 in) polyester type plastic film with magnetic coating
Speed: 2.4 cm/s and 1.2 cm/s
Number of tracks: 2 (one each way).
Magnetic tape manufacturers: Olympus, Sony and others
Variations: devices for recording in stereo were produced in 1982 for HiFi microcassettes using Type IV "metal" coated tape.
